Group’s Business and Policies
Rainhill Investment Limited (“Rainhill Investment” or the “Group”) maintains a range of internal policies and procedures designed to promote ethical business practices and minimise the risk of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking across its operations and supply chains.
Outsourcing Policy
The Group’s Outsourcing Policy ensures that Rainhill Investment appropriately assesses and manages the risks associated with outsourcing business activities, including critical and regulated functions, in accordance with applicable UK laws, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices. This includes conducting due diligence on third-party suppliers and service providers to identify operational, legal, compliance, and human rights risks, including risks relating to modern slavery.
Whistleblowing Policy
Rainhill Investment maintains a Whistleblowing Policy that enables employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to report suspected misconduct or unlawful activity confidentially and, where permitted by law, anonymously. This includes concerns relating to modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, or other human rights abuses. Reports are handled in accordance with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (PIDA) and the Group’s internal reporting procedures.
Dignity at Work Policy
The Group’s Dignity at Work Policy sets clear standards of professional conduct expected from all employees, directors, and representatives of Rainhill Investment. The policy outlines procedures for reporting bullying, harassment, discrimination, victimisation, or other inappropriate behaviour and reinforces the Group’s commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and safe workplace.
Training and Awareness
Rainhill Investment is committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks throughout the organisation. Employees receive periodic training through the Group’s internal learning and compliance programme to help them understand their responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
The training is designed to:
- Educate employees on the nature and different forms of modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Enable employees to recognise indicators and warning signs of modern slavery.
- Promote due diligence and vigilance throughout the Group’s operations, investments, and supply chain relationships.
- Encourage the reporting of any concerns through the Group’s internal whistleblowing procedures.
Rainhill Investment believes that promoting awareness, accountability, and a strong ethical culture is fundamental to identifying and mitigating modern slavery risks throughout its business activities.
